The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach where we had a blast swimming and even spotted some whales. The staff were super cool and hooked us up with awesome activities like snorkeling and sunset boat tours. Best vacation ever!

Only downside was that there wasn't a big party scene at the resort. We were hoping for some lively nightlife with other young people.

Sea Shine Beach Resort in Mirissa is my go-to place. The staff helped with early check-in on my first stay. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, bar, outdoor dining, restaurant, kitchen utensils. Can't wait to be back for Christmas!

Stayed at this fantastic beachfront accommodation, the WiFi was nonexistent , the room had a bug paradise due to the missing fly screens, and the laundry service turned my clothes into modern art. But hey, at least the breakfast was tasty! So worth it!

Who needs WiFi, bug-free rooms, and clean clothes when you have a great location and a delicious breakfast? Definitely not me!

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Shine Beach Resort in Mirissa. the lovely host family was always available to cater to our needs. They even arranged a whale watching trip for us during our stay. the room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was included in the low price. the owners, with their limited English, were extremely friendly and tried their best to assist us in any way possible. We were even allowed to have our breakfast when we returned from our tour late, showing their flexibility. the bathroom, although small, was impeccably clean. the location was perfect, with the accommodation situated right on the beach and just a short walk to the main street where we could find all the amenities we needed.

Sea Shine Beach Resort provided great value for money and we highly recommend it. Cons: Nothing could have been better!

The homestay had a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the fan provided kept us cool in the heat. the location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions such as the beach and the harbor.

There were a few drawbacks. , the room had no fly screens on the windows, which allowed mosquitoes to enter and made our stay quite uncomfortable.
